The One & Only Mauritius resort has over a mile of white sandy beaches with three types of room, Junior Suite, Ocean Suite and The One & Only Le Saint Geran Villa.

Suites are very generous spaces, offering spectacular views of the deep blue of the Indian Ocean. All suites feature a private terrace facing either the ocean or cove, or a door opening onto a tropical garden. Bathrooms are beautifully appointed, with incredible cascading showers. All guests have a personalised 24-hour butler service.

Junior Suites have Dutch and French colonial influences. The terraces have views over the sandy beaches and the lagoon, while the interiors have a deliciously soft King-size bed or two Queen-size beds. The dressing room provides ample space to store belongings, while the bathroom includes a dual vanity unit, private toilet, a roomy shower, large bath and special lighting. Ocean Suites have separate roomy lounges, private dining room and two secluded terraces lead off the master bedroom with King-size bed. Inside, plush upholstered sofas offer comfortable seating, while the draped curtains and sliding shutters frame the grand bay windows. The large bathroom includes a dual vanity unit, private toilet, a roomy shower, large bath and special lighting. Each Ocean Suite is connected to a Junior Suite, making it an excellent choice for families.

The Villa reigns supreme with its relaxed and discreet luxury, private swimming pool and separate entrance. A team of valets, butler and chef are constantly on hand.

With two spacious bedrooms, The Villa occupies in a peaceful corner of the estate it boasts clear views of the Indian Ocean over a private swimming pool and spacious terrace. The master bedroom has a magnificent four-poster bed, and the second bedroom features two Queen-size beds. Each of the two bathrooms have cascading shower, whirlpool bath and his and her vanity. Massages are designed to bring you back to your former self. Specialist advisers will help you choose the one best suited for you. Once chosen, massages may be married to a corresponding scrub, wrap and facial, giving you the complete experience. From the cuisine of Michelin-starred Chef Alain Ducasse, to the relaxed ambience of the thatched-roof Pool Bar, guests enjoy a variety of restaurants and bars catering to every taste, mood and occasion. The bars at Le Saint Géran specialise in a wide variety of cocktails. A morning scuba dive? Putting with the golf pro on the Gary Player designed golf course, or honing skills at the Peter Burwash International Tennis Club? From aerobics and yoga to beach volleyball and water-skiing, Le Saint Géran offers a wide array of activities. Enthusiastic and highly trained staff attend to the specific interests of each guest. And children are cared for in the Kids Only club. Every day, the Sports Team organises and co-ordinates a host of team-sport matches including volleyball, mini-football, bocciball, badminton, tennis, croquet, table tennis and beach soccer. Cross-island bicycle rides and horse riding offer enriching personal exploration of the pure beauty discovered on Mauritius. Keep-fit exercises such as yoga and aquarobics are regularly organised.
